Starbucks // App Design Analysis

I downloaded this app recently and thought the interface was a little confusing. There are a lot of tabs and some of them don’t feel necessary and could be included under other areas. One feature that I think has been really successful for Starbucks and their app is the Starbucks card. This part of the app is very well designed and easy to use (though mine is not connected yet and therefore not shown). It’s easy to add money and scan the card, and having this done through the app simplifies the user experience.
